Numerous studies show that with the death penalty there is a risk of killing an innocent person and that in abolitionist countries there is a reduction in the number of crimes. Knowing this reduces consent to the death penalty. But when we are faced with the stories of men and women: activists, victim families, former death row inmates, it is with them that we understand more.

We do not let the culture of death and the logic of retaliation pollute the feelings and the air we breathe.
